This Examined Life is written by Pann Hammer. That is not my real name, of course.

I live in a pretty funky neighborhood in a large Northeastern city. I love my neighborhood, but if I told you where I live, it would be pretty likely you’d figure out my true identity pretty quickly. Word gets around, if you know what I mean.

I live with my husband, two young children, and three cats. It’s my greatest joy and biggest challenge to raise children, teach them my values, and keep them healthy and happy.

I look forward to getting my thoughts and observations organized into posts and categories. Perhaps this may someday be the way I can give my children the gift of insight into their own childhoods seen from their mother’s perspective.

Oh yeah and I run a small business from home. Which I’m neglecting right now, because I’m blogging instead.  Gotta go!
