Evil Cat is Lost

I can’t believe how sad I am, and angry, that my evil, biting, scratching cat has run away. She runs out the door often, even though I try to keep her in, so I didn’t worry much when she zoomed through my legs and out into the garden on Friday. I called for her Friday evening — usually she runs back into the house when I call for her.
In the above picture, she’s looking out the window, plotting ways to escape her confinement.
Saturday morning, I was sure she’d be looking for breakfast. But no Luna. Alas, I’ve called and called for her, and she has not shown up.
Now it’s Sunday. Another night has passed, with no sign of her. We just put up LOST CAT signs all around our block, hoping that maybe someone has taken her in thinking she is a stray, or at least has seen her terrorizing the local wild bird population. C tells me now I should just be patient.
I haven’t been bitten by her since Friday morning. I miss her terribly.

Our cat is a pain in the @ss too. When ours went missing I was heartbroken. He finally did return. And I hope yours does too Pann. She will…

I sure hope you get her back…don’t forget to check the dog pound in the morning, if there is one in your area…usually if a pet is at the “pound”, they don’t have much time….in our area I think it’s about 5 days…but make sure you go down there in person to look, because the worker’s idea of a “tabby” cat might not match yours, and Luna might really be there and you would never know…
She sounds like “a cat only a cat-mom could love”…very precious, and she looks very stately in her photo, too. I’m hoping that by the time you read this, you’ll be logging on to post that she is back…

Oh, wow, I’m sorry to hear that. Our cat was missing last week, but I found out he has 3 homes on our street…apparently he suckered my neighbors into feeding him!
I will cross my fingers that your Luna comes home safe and sound.

Oh, I’m sorry! We have a bad cat at our house, and I am always half-wishing he’ll go to the great catnip patch in the sky–but on the other hand, when he DOES go, or if he were to go missing, I would feel very very differently about it. Hope Luna returns in time for Thanksgiving dinner.
