My Watermelon

We just finished eating it. It could have stayed on the vine a few more days, but it was super delicious, very juicy, very sweet and has wonderful big seeds that are GREAT for spitting! This has got to be the juiciest variety of watermelon I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

This a great photo! Watermelon is a great guard against evil! My grandfather ate it with salt. Do you know anybody who does that? We never knew why. Too afraid to try it and see for ourselves!

I only manage tomatoes. This year I planted cukes, jalapenos, melon and zucchini and I still only seem to have tomatoes, though there is a pepper that I will harvest sooner or later.

    I still have hope, though!
